Occupation: Program Manager
I joined HOPE because I read a book on volunteering and was looking for where I could volunteer. What I got though was a journey to self discovery and growth.
While at HOPE, I worked with MEL, programs and Curriculum.
Volunteering with HOPE allowed me to understand what the world can look like if a group of people decide they want change. It allowed me to understand what impact and selflessness really means and it gave me the “ginger” to go for exactly what I want in life.
Helping other people grow forces you to choose growth as well and that’s what HOPE did for me. I kept growing into the best version of myself and as if that wasn’t enough, I got a tribe of awesome people to call family.
