C.I.T.Y Homes is an outreach program to correctional institutions and other care providing residential homes/institutions such as orphanages. The goal of C.I.T.Y Homes is to send a message of hope and spark an interest for active citizenry in young people in correctional facilities and adopted homes by administering support and empowerment trainings that will help mold them into responsible adults and impactful role models.
The first C.I.T.Y Homes outreach kicked off in March 2012 with the Girls’ Correctional Center, Idi-Araba. Over the years, we have provided them with relevant trainings, skill-based workshops and have executed projects to further support their growth and development. Such projects include the rehabilitation of a library and the donation of a computer room.
