This is a drive to empower individuals to take on social projects where they are, with what they have.
H.O.P.E Week of Service was initiated in 2015 to celebrate H.O.P.E’s 5th year in service of our immediate community and humanity. This featured a 10-day event where individuals across Nigeria took part in nation building, by taking responsibility for a cause. One of the days is set apart to honor the Chancellor of the Alma mater of our founding organization, Dr. David Oyedepo.
Some of the change projects undertaken by individuals include: Painting of a public School, Orphanage Visitations, Community Outreaches, Drainage Cleaning, Prostate Cancer Walk amongst others.
In 2019, amongst several outreaches and programs, we carried out a Medical outreach in collaboration with Covenant University Community Development Initiative for David Oyedepo Day of Service (H.O.P.E Week of Service activity) at Oko-Oba, Ogun State. Medical tests such as BP tests, Malaria parasite tests, eye tests, etc. were carried out and Malaria drugs were distributed to over 300 members of the community.
