H.O.P.E (Helping Other People Excel) is a community development, social change and national transformation initiative of the Covenant University Alumni Association (CUALA)
Every program we do is aimed at creating impact in the lives of individuals, communities and the nation. We take pleasure in reaching out our hands for others to be lifted up.
Catch and Inspire Them Young is a series of programs designed to develop teenagers with leadership skills, ignite their spirit of patriotism and stimulate creativity in a safe and fun learning environment.
This is a 10 day leadership development camp with a goal to imbibe true leadership skills, positive values and lay a foundation of sustainable capacity building in the lives of teenagers.
C.I.T.Y Fellows is for Youth Corps members across Nigeria, who are willing to provide leadership centered trainings for teenagers in schools where they are posted or communities around them, while they are enrolled in self-development trainings and mentoring opportunities.
The Excel Series was conceived as a platform to bridge the knowledge and skills gap in today’s world. It features a one-day session that links knowledge experts in a particular field/area with aspirants, allowing for adequate knowledge transfer.
C.I.T.Y Trainings run alongside the school year calendar and curriculum. They may take the form of extracurricular activities that run during the school year or prefects’ trainings which run for few weeks with continuous mentoring and short intensive programs lasting from two hours to two days.
Join our team of volunteers to make a difference in the world, educating and empowering teenagers in community and nation building
